Railroad Spike Cross

Making art out of existing objects is what I find the most enjoyable. Here is a single railroad spike bent and manipulated to form a cross. only hammering was used to make the cross, no welding.

the spike is cut in two different directions allowing the upper part of the cross to come from the bottom (near the head of the spike) and the side legs came from the point of the spike. the wood affect was done with the peen of the hammer.
